Originally founded nearly 50 years ago as a mom and pop shop by an American veteran, the company was later purchased by Abraham Tashdjian, who proudly kept the name — a tribute to the founder’s military service.
In its early days, Veteran Company operated as a small, family-run upholstery supplier offering foam, glue, and vinyl. Under the ownership of Abraham Tashdjian, the business expanded significantly with the introduction of European automotive materials such as premium leather and carpet — elevating its product offerings and market appeal.
Since then, Veteran has grown from a niche European upholstery supplier into a leading wholesale distributor for a wide range of industries, including automotive, marine, contract, office, recreational vehicles, and aircraft interiors.
With new leadership and a forward-looking team, Veteran Company has refined its European product lines and expanded its reach — becoming a well-established West Coast distributor. Now, we’re positioned to grow even further as a nationwide supplier and converter, delivering premium materials and custom solutions with unmatched service.
In 2025, Veteran Company restructured to better serve these expanding markets.
